Booking Information

Thanks for your interest in scheduling me for your worship service or event. I am excited about the possibility of serving you. You will find my contact info on the right side of this page. Feel free to call or email me for any inquiries or questions regarding scheduling. I generally try to respond within 24-48 hours when possible. If you don't hear back from me within that timeframe, please send your email again. For your convenience, I have also included some frequently asked questions below, which may answer some of your questions more quickly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What can a church or organization expect when you lead worship? -
My goal, each time I lead worship through music and throughout my life, is to point people to Christ. I hope that people will walk away knowing more of who God is and what He is like because they heard about Him in the songs and Scripture, and that they also see Him at work in my life. I always pray that people will be able to worship God without me being a distraction, so my goal is to not draw attention to myself as much as possible.

2. When you lead worship, do you typically play your own original songs, or songs that our students / congregation will know? -
For the most part, I try to stick with songs that your students / congregation will know. When available, it is beneficial for me to have a list of songs that your group sings on a regular basis. I believe that it is less distracting to have the majority of the songs to be familiar. I don't want to throw songs into a worship set just because I wrote them. Instead, I want to choose songs that help direct us toward Christ, and songs that are related to the subject matter of the message (whenever possible).

3. How much do you charge? -
I do not charge a fee to lead worship. I know that many churches or ministries simply cannot afford to bring in a worship leader or musician, so I want to be able to serve wherever I can. If you are able to cover my expenses, that would be much appreciated. If you choose to give an honorarium, it will go toward continuing this ministry, and toward my seminary costs.

4. Do you bring a band? - Due to the costs associated with bringing quality musicians, I do not always bring a band. I do have musicians that I can bring if you would prefer to have a full band (or even just an additional musician or two), but because I would need to pay them for their time, I would have to charge a fee. Let me know if you would like to discuss this option further.

5. How many people travel with you? -
My wife will always be with me wherever I travel. She generally runs the MediaShout, and is available to help in other ways when needed. She is a big part of our ministry, and it's exciting that we get to travel together and serve God in this way. Other than her, it will depend on whether or not you choose to have me bring other musicians.

6. Many musicians have certain sound requirements; what do you require? -
I am very flexible. Basically, I can work with what you have. I'll generally bring my acoustic guitars, mic, mic stand, guitar stands, cords, and direct box; so I can just plug into your system. If you don't have a sound system, I can still manage. Just let me know ahead of time what is available.

7. Are we required to provide meals for you? -
No. But if you would like to provide a meal, please be aware that I am not able to eat many different foods. I generally will have some sandwiches, etc. that I bring with me in case I cannot eat what is being served, so please do not be offended.
